This street was the heart and main shopping area of old Morley. Some of the old buildings still remain and are now a flourishing cafe, bar and entertainment area.  As you walk along Brunswick St on your right hand side is a high wall supporting the end of Bank Avenue as it descends to join Brunswick St.  The green space was a row of poor residential housing and shops.  It is now pleasant area to sit in the sun.
