Build prior to 1866 for William Jackson a Morley business man of note and considered a modern design for the times. Situated on a commanding position with panoramic views it included a beautiful porch, clustered chimneys and bay windows and all round attractive property. In 1920 the Jackson estate was purchased by The Masonic Lodge and Integrity Lodge moved into Thornfield House from Temple Lodge on Commercial St. in Morley.
